18 years expertise in creating thoughtful, challenging integrated branding projects for great brands.
Believe brands need to look, speak, think and act as innovators and leaders to be noticed, respected and loved.
Deep knowledge of design and art direction craft skills to deliver fully integrated design, branding and advertising work.
Huge range of client experience, equally at ease working with and pitching to start-up entrepreneurs and global brands.
Believer in a joined-up, user-centred design approach to problem solving, with sound understanding of strategy, creative and tech.
Encourage and believe in cross discipline teamwork, and self-initiated projects.
Involved with the D&AD (New Blood and student awards), judging or creating workshops.
Always happy to contribute to extra-curricular industry activities, press and opinion whenever possible.
Graduated from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art with a First Class Honours Degree in Graphic Design and Multimedia.
Won the Brand Identity category, and nominated for the student of the year award at the 1999 Student D&AD awards.
Won some awards over the years, and always aim to create effective, challenging, newsworthy and award winning work.
Worked with great clients in most sectors including: Absolute Radio, Barclays, Betfair, Camelot, Cuervo, D&AD, Ebay, Orange, and Skype.
Passionate about the arts and culture, riding bikes, drinking fine whisky, eating great food and The Bauhaus – but not all at once.
Born and bred in Scotland, but have been and lived around the world.
